Crochet Cruise FAQ
Do I have to be an expert at crocheting to join?
Not at all. This cruise is open to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced crocheters. The focus is relaxation, creativity, and community — not instruction or perfection.
Is this a crochet class or a retreat?
No. This is not a class-based retreat. There are no formal lessons or teaching schedules. We host optional crochet meetups so guests can stitch, socialize, and enjoy the cruise together at their own pace.
What’s included in the cruise?
Your cruise fare includes:
Accommodations on the ship
All meals in main dining venues
Entertainment, shows, and activities
Access to daily optional crochet meetups
Group coordination and support from Travel Krew
Extras such as excursions, drink packages, Wi-Fi, and gratuities may be added separately.
Do I need to bring my own yarn and supplies?
Yes. Guests are responsible for bringing their own yarn, hooks, and supplies. This allows you to work on projects you love using materials you’re comfortable with.
Can I travel solo?
Absolutely. Many guests travel solo on group cruises. Crochet meetups and group activities make it easy to connect and feel included.
What cruise line and itinerary will we be sailing?
Cruise line and itinerary details will be shared on the booking page and confirmed before final payment. All itineraries feature Caribbean destinations and multiple sea days for relaxation and stitching time.
Is there a minimum number of people required?
Yes. Cruise lines require a minimum of 8 cabins (16 guests) for group pricing and perks. Once this minimum is met, group benefits are secured.
How do payments work?
A small deposit is required to reserve your cabin
Payment plans are available
Final payment is due before sailing (date provided at booking)
Travel Krew manages all payment deadlines and reminders so nothing is missed.
Can friends or family join even if they don’t crochet?
Yes! Non-crocheters are welcome. Crochet meetups are optional, and all guests can enjoy the ship’s dining, entertainment, and excursions.
Will there be private crochet events or meetups?
Yes. We will host optional scheduled crochet meetups during sea days and select times onboard. Participation is always optional.
Is this cruise women-only?
This cruise is designed with women in mind, but it is open to all adults who enjoy crochet and community unless otherwise stated.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation policies are set by the cruise line and vary by sailing date. Travel Krew will provide full cancellation details before booking so you can make an informed decision.
